Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
For the rehabilitation and improvement of a certain section of State Highway in Susquehanna County, Oakland Township, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State Route 1010, Section 501. The project being situated as follows: From the intersection with SR 1021 (Brushville Road) at Segment 0010 Offset 0000 to a point 0.13 miles West of the intersection with SR 1021 at Segment 0010 Offset 0690, along SR 1010 (Harmony Road) for a conceptual total length of 629.14 feet (.119 mile). This is a Design-Build Project that includes the replacement of the existing single span, single lane, concrete bridge deck with concrete abutments and steel beams. The proposed bridge will be constructed on new alignment approximately 50 foot upstream from the existing bridge. Other work includes roadway approach work, guide rail, temporary traffic control, and other miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved plans included in the bid package.
