This Safety Improvement Project Addresses Backup Issues on I-81 at the I-81 Southbound Off-ramp (Ramp G) to Sr 6309. The Project Involves the Widening of Sr 8013 (Ramp G) to Accommodate a Dual Left-turn Lane at Its Intersection With Sr 6309 (Wilkes Barre Township Boulevard) and Sr 2005 (Blackman Street). The Eastbound Sr 2005 (Blackman Street) Approach to the Intersection Will Be Widened to Accommodate a Larger Concrete Channelizing Island, Widened Right Turn Lane and Relocated Stormwater Facilities. Mill and Overlay of Existing Pavement, New Pavement Markings, Signage, Ada Ramps and Traffic Signal Upgrades Are Included.
