Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project includes, but not limited to, the following major components: 1. Transfer Pumping - 600 ML/d Pumping Station located on the WTP property, adjoining the 1928/1948 filter building - Site work and piping - Commissioning of all process and electrical system including confirmation of regular operation as well as all failure scenarios 2. Electrical Upgrades - Upgrades to provide a dual train (Train A and B) redundant electrical supply system for the new Transfer Pumping system and existing Water Treatment Plant process areas - Installation of 4.16 kV - 600 V transformers each supplied with power from 5 kV Train A and Train B switchgear that will distribute power to each of the four (4) 600 V busses in the new 600 V switchgear line-up - Four (4) 600 V switchgear line-ups physically separated and connected to each other. Each set of two (2) 600 V switchgear line-ups (Train A and B) shall supply 600 V power to process load centers which will be split into process Train A and Train B. - 600 V to 208 V transformers will feed 208 V switchboards. Each set of two (2) 208 V switchboards shall supply 208 V power to Train A and Train B process loads. - The electrical upgrades will replace existing electrical equipment and wiring. - All equipment and wiring made obsolete as a result of these upgrades will be removed from the plant and disposed of appropriately. - Separation of electrical feeds to all of the water treatment process load centers and separation of all of the process loads into two (2) independent trains. 3. Cathodic Protection - Installation of cathodic protection for the Transfer Pumping and Electrical Upgrades project as well as at the following City of Saskatoon sites - Installation of fully functional and commissioned cathodic protection system including test stations, rectifiers, anode beds, and wiring connected to existing and new infrastructure.
