The project is to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish a New Multi-Purpose Building, Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock), McKinley County. The building will size and type will be determined during the planning and design phase of the project. The land has been withdrawn and the archaeological and environmental studies all completed with chapter funds. Phase I the chapter will hire a consultant to plan and design the building structure and be completed in 12 months. Phase II will include the construct the building and take approximately 24 months, Phase III will include the purchase of all necessary furnishings (tables, chairs, office desks & furniture, and commercial kitchen appliances). The New Multi-Purpose Building will follow Navajo Nation and State of New Mexico procurement laws. The purchase will bid out to vendors and then a vendor will be selected. The New Multi-Purpose Building will serve the Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock) community and surrounding areas. The Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock) will own, operate and maintain the building. Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent for the project. As of January 28, 2022, this project is currently in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's FY 2023-2027 CIP.
