The project will include the plan, design, and construct of a major renovation of the Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock) House, Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock), McKinley County. The renovation will include the kitchen (floor, painting, and replacement of kitchen equipment), the meeting room (floor, painting, and drop ceiling), chapter offices (painting general repair), installation of new electrical and plumbing systems; and renovate existing sewer lagoon connection. The land has been withdrawn and the archaeological and environmental studies all completed with chapter funds. Phase I the chapter will hire a consultant to plan and design the building renovation and be completed in 8 months. Phase II will include the construct of the renovation and purchase of all necessary equipment and furnishings. Phase II will take approximately 12 months. The chapter will follow the Navajo Nation and State of New Mexico procurement laws. The purchase will bid out to vendors and then a vendor will be selected. The New Multi-Purpose Building will serve the Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock) community. The Tse Lichii Chapter (Red Rock) owns, operates and maintains the building. Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent for the project. As of January 28, 2022, this project is currently in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's FY 2023-2027 CIP.
