Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope includes construction services for the following: - Fulfill all WorkSafeBC requirements for confined space entry into the Trickling Filters (TFs), which may include obtaining approval from WorkSafeBC for an alternate measure and/or a variance application. - Preparation of detailed project documentation such as: shop drawing submittals, work plans, demolition plans, testing and commissioning plans, and tie-in plans. - Provide construction access to the TFs to facilitate replacement of the media, rotary distributor, and other associated work. - For each TF (up to two TFs): - Demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing rotary distributor, TF media, and foul air (FOA) ducting. - Supply and installation of rotary distributor. - Supply and installation of TF media. - Supply and installation of FOA ducting. - Refurbishment of TF geodesic dome. - Repair of damaged concrete and concrete liner (as required). - Restoration and cleanup. - Application of applicable permits. - In addition to the above, the scope will include, start-up and testing and commissioning services for the new equipment and all associated mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and control components. *Award amount was not released for publicaiton.
