Site work, new construction and renovation of a stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and for the construction of a four-story above grade stadium.
This project will construct a new football/athletic training facility for the intercollegiate athletic program, located on the north edge of campus at the McKenzie Arena (720 East 4th Street in Chattanooga, TN). This project will provide a new training facility connected to McKenzie Arena and will renovate a significant amount of area within the existing arena for the non-football teams. The new facility will create an implied gateway to campus on Mabel Street and will also be a resource available to diverse campus, student and community organizations with the incorporation of a concourse-level Multipurpose room accessible for non-game day events. As of April 15, 2022, the project broke ground this week. All trades are let. Construction is expected to take two years to complete.
