Start date is May 17, 2021 and completion date has not yet been established.** The Project is generally described as: Provision of equipment, devices, appliances, accessories, design, installation and testing of a complete new fire alarm system as defined in drawings and specifications by William Duff Architects and their consulting engineers, Johnson Controls Inc. dated 01/26/2020 and any such subsequent addendums and instructions. The area of work will be occupied during the construction phase and work hours will be constrained by the user group as further described. The project has been approved by SFDBI. Provide unit pricing for each type of field device and appliance utilized in the fire alarm system. Include costs for installation, materials, programming and testing in the unit pricing. Remove existing fire alarm system upon completion and acceptance of the new fire alarm system. The estimated construction value of the Work is between $350,000 - $550,000. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be nonresponsive and rejected by the District.
