Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Copperas Cove, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

This project includes construction of 10' wide bicycle / pedestrian shared use pathways for the Copperas Cove Transportation Alternative (TA) Program - THE NARROWS PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Copperas Cove in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The City of Copperas Cove reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days from date on which bids are opened. Note that an eight percent (8%) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal has been set by the Texas Department of Transportation on this project. Construction plans are formatted to plot on 11"x17" paper. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for an interpretation shall be made in writing to the locality or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Each interpretation made will be in the form of an Addendum to the contract documents and will be distributed to all parties holding contract documents no less than five (5) days prior to the bid opening.
