Site work and paving for a civil project in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The scope of the BFPP Assignments includes sewer and storm drainage improvement, including but not limited to sanitary sewer upgrades, storm sewer upgrades, open channels, in line storage (oversized pipes and precast concrete box units etc.), stormwater management facilities (underground storage tanks, wet/dry ponds, artificial wetlands, etc.), low impact development measures, catch basin inlet controls, outfall/outlet control structures and additional associated municipal infrastructure work and appurtenance which may be impacted by these assignments. The Assignments may also include road resurfacing and/or reconstruction, road and/or other right-of-way (ROW) element restoration, other sewer or watermain replacements, lateral services replacements (sewers and watermain), other utility relocation, as required. TIMELINE: The Civil Engineer has completed detailed engineering design for BFPP4 Assignments/Projects. The Consultant will also provide contract administration (DDCA) services for the Assignments as projects are identified to proceed to tender. Projects will be followed once approved for bid. Coverage discontinued. It is the City's intent to assign 2 additional, currently undefined Projects to the Consultant, with an aggregate construction value of up to the difference between the Maximum Construction Cost (MCC) value stipulated in Section 5 of this RFP and the aggregate value of the Projects defined in Appendix E. These additional Projects would be assigned within one year of award of this RFP, once further preliminary designs have been completed and accepted by the City, at the City's discretion; however, the City does not guarantee that the additional Projects will be assigned to the Consultant. These additional Projects would be tendered as 2 additional construction contracts (1 for each Project), each with an estimated construction schedule duration of up to 24 months.
