Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saint-Bruno, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a swimming pool; 103,725-square-foot, two-story above grade, 300-seat, 271-space stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
Construction of a multisport complex in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. The sports and recreation facility will be built on a site of approximately 22,721 square meters adjacent to Parc Marie-Victorin. The project will include an aquatic area (including in particular two pools - a 25-m eight-lane competition swimming pool and a recreation pool, bleachers with a capacity of 300 seats and a sauna), a double gymnasium, multipurpose rooms for sports and leisure activities, a running and walking track as well as common areas and administrative spaces on the second floor. TIMELINE: Owner received a favorable opinion of compliance of the project from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MAMH) as well as the Metropolitan Community of Montreal (CMM). Preliminary plans are being finalized. Working drawings are expected to begin in spring 2024. According to the owner's scheduling plans and specifications for the project will be completed during the fall of 2024, a tender for the general contractor being expected in late 2024. Construction start is anticipated in early 2025 with completion in late 2026.
