Long-Range Stand-Off Acquisition Facility Eglin AFB, FL This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis utilizing far part 15 source selection procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. The solicitation will be available for download on or around 9 May 2019. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. Subcontracting plan will be required. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Design and construction of a new one story 49,370 square-foot ICD 705 compliant administrative facility with concrete foundation; structural system of reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, structural steel, cold-formed steel, or a combination of these; exterior wall finish consisting of integrally colored 4-inch split-face CMU block or brick with precast concrete banding; hip and gable roofs with standing seam metal roofing; and interior systems (electrical, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, AV, IDS, DDC, telecom, ACS, and CCTV). The project also includes supporting facilities with new parking, utilities, stormwater, ATFP design elements, landscaping, and other site improvements. Note No. 1: All prospective contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via FedBizOpps. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FedBizOpps Internet Homepage. If you are not registered, the United States Government is not responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this solicitation. The solicitation will be available only as a direct download. This solicitation will not be issued on CD-ROM. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor fax requests will be accepted. Registration should be completed one week prior to the issue date. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to monitor the website daily for the solicitation to be posted, and for any posted changes or amendments to this solicitation. The plans and specifications and all notifications of changes to this solicitation shall only be made through this posting and modifications hereto. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed-paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Due to Base Security requirements and limited field staff available for construction contractor site visits, this scheduled site visit will be the only one offered. Individual requests for site visits will not be granted. Contractors will be required to register with Ms. Crawford and Ms. Duerst by close of business on 16 May 2019 and will be required to provide their given name (as it appears on their driver's license), date of birth, the project name, name of the company that they represent, and a state driver's license number. Contractors must provide a list with the names of the persons to be attending the site visit on Company Letterhead and email it to Ms. Crawford and Ms. Duerst at the number/address shown below. Request for attendance received after the date shown above will not be accepted. The number of attendees is limited to four from each firm.
