Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Meaford, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project involves rehabilitating the existing Sykes Street Bridge over the Big Head River. The rehabilitation work includes, but is not limited to: - Removing and replacing asphalt, waterproofing, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and approach slabs - Removing and replacing expansion joints - Removing railing and constructing new concrete parapet walls - Concrete patch repairs to deck, soffit, ends of girders, abutments, and wingwalls - Removing and reusing the four (4) light poles, and construct concrete pedestals and install connecting ducts - Removing and replacing insulation wrap around suspended watermain and inserting an HDPE watermain pipe inside the existing watermain pipe - Removing and replacing the existing watermain pipe beyond the ends of the bridge with new HDPE pipes complete with tracer wire installation Documents are available at: https://meaford.bidsandtenders.ca
