Site work for a civil project in Meaford, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work to be completed under this tender, ITT-ES-2023-07, includes the following: - Remove existing sluice gates and replace them with new stainless steel sluice gates. - Supply and install all piping including but not limited to valves, fittings, connection to existing piping, etc. complete. - Remove and replace existing return sludge piping and valving as per Specifications and drawings, to allow bypassing of existing return sludge pit to complete concrete repairs. This will be required to be tested prior to commencing any concrete works to ensure plant is operating within compliance limits. A test run of a minimum of 72 hours will need to be completed prior to any works. Should there not be adequate return rates this period may need to be lengthened. - Any other work not specifically specified above but is required to complete the contract. - Removal of damaged concrete and replacement by providing dowels, rebars and specified concrete. - Surface preparation and waterproofing concrete surfaces. - Cleaning of RAS/WAS (return activated sludge/waste activated sludge) chamber for inspection by structural engineer. - Relocation/modification of any existing electrical, plumbing, mechanical item required to complete tendered work at no additional cost to owner.
