Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Oswego, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the construction of a educational facility.

**As of November 6, 2020, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** The work of this single-bid project includes work on Sheldon Hall which was constructed in 1912 and underwent an exterior renovation between 2010 and 2013 where 90% of the existing terracotta was replaced. In 2015, the replaced terracotta began to exhibit issues with spalling of surface finish, exposing substrate to weather and allowing for deterioration. The scope of work will include the removal and replacement of deteriorated terracotta, brick removal and replacement, removal and reinstallation of the lightening protection system to include the replacement of the air terminals, and limited mechanical work in the attic to introduce ventilation air. Asbestos abatement will be required for a small quantity of area. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Peggy McSorley or for MWBE related issues, Joanne Lovelady (518) 320-1711. Contact made to other staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the firm and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York.
