Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Prairieville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,956-square-foot fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
A new 2,956 sf steel framed addition to the existing main fire station housing a training room and associated restrooms, offices, and a warming kitchen. Where bids are to be received on forms furnished by the awarding authority, no contract documents shall be issued to anyone except a Licensed Contractor or his authorized Representatives. In no event shall any documents for bidding be issued later than seventy-two hours prior to the hour and date set for receiving bids. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit to the Owner/Architect, with their request for Contract Documents, Contract Documents deposit and evidence that they hold State License of proper classification and in full force and effect. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) operates a toll free Hotline Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Anyone with knowledge of possible bid rigging, bidder collusion, or other fraudulent activities should call 1-800-424-9071. All information will be treated confidentially and caller anonymity will be respected. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid , response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
