Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Blackfalds, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 30,985-square-foot, three-story above grade, 12-unit elderly care / assisted living facility.
Plans call for a 10 to 25-unit seniors (55+) housing facility. The facility may include a mix of self-contained units, life lease, care suites and supportive living 2. TIMELINE: Project is on hold, pending government funding approvals. The first phase of the project may include a 3-storey, 12-unit mixed use building with rental and life lease units (scope of work may be subject to change). Development is subject to provincial funding approvals; timelines are unknown. Project is an initiative by the Lacombe Foundation, the Town of Blackfalds, and the Bethany Group who are the operator for the facility. *Budget is unreleased.
