A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work is located within Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, McGuire AFB, Building 2319, on the west side of Vandenburg Avenue, between West Arnold Avenue and Tuskegee Airmen Avenue. The construction will include reinforced concrete foundations and floor slab, brick veneer with cast concrete accent exterior wall, a standing seam metal roof to match the existing facility and a roll-up door(s). Alteration work will include interior utilities, walls, mechanical, electrical, communication upgrades & connections. Included will be a parking lot; pavements, relocation of a fuel line & other supporting work. The period of performance for this project will be lengthy, approximately 720 days from the Notice to Proceed date. The work will be phased and the existing Government equipment will have to be moved by Government personnel, once that is completed, the contractor can continue with alteration and renovation work on the area from where the old equipment is moved. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 for Commercial & Institutional Building Construction. The magnitude of this construction is estimated to cost between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Any and all amendments shall be likewise posted. Hard copies will not be available.
