Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brandon, Manitoba. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
For future intersection improvements, additional alignments and relocation options based on existing and projected vehicle and non-vehicle traffic. Scope may include pedestrian crossings, sidewalk connections, roundabouts, signals, bus turnarounds, new roadway connections, transit stop relocations, and multi-use pathways. TIMELINE: A functional design study has been completed by the consultant. The consultant completed a Class 4 Cost Estimate for the Braecrest Drive Corridor, estimated cost is $6,353,100. Funding will be sought by all levels of government. An RFP for detailed design is expected to be released before the end of 2024.
