Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a 61,569-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the renovation of a 297,462-square-foot educational facility.
The project consists of: A 61,569 sf addition including an outdoor Plaza, Competition Gymnasium with telescoping seating and athletic equipment, Wrestling room, Locker rooms, Concession stand, Commons, Kitchen and Servery including all foodservice equipment, Toilet rooms, and accessory spaces. The project also includes Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection and Plumbing work. The project will also include site development including utilities, parking lots, fire lane, and sidewalks. Renovation of the existing 297,462 sf building includes mechanical system upgrades, sprinkler system expansion into all unsprinklered areas, LED lighting upgrades throughout various areas of the building, accessibility upgrades to toilet rooms, ramps, casework and locker rooms. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
