Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Pasadena, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
This project provides for an annual program to address maintenance, replacement and restoration to areas, and equipment for the Civic Auditorium, Convention Center, and Ice Rink. This project will ensure that maintenance and repairs are regularly scheduled and performed for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and electrical, lighting, painting, boilers, plumbing, compressors, waterproofing, and elevators. In FY 2022, major projects include general repairs, waterproofing work on the Civic and parking structure and sound system upgrades to the Civic Auditorium. This project is included in the City of Pasadena's FY 2022-2026 CIP. As of October 26, 2022, the city has discussed a $2.5 million loan to the Pasadena Center Operating Company (PCOC) to fund capital improvement projects. Information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available.
