Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pasadena, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project intends to improve safety along Cordova Street with Class II bike lanes, bicycle detection at traffic signals, street resurfacing, pedestrian ADA accessibility upgrades, curb extensions and water quality improvements. These improvements consist of cold milling and overlaying roadway sections, microsurfacing roadway sections, constructing bioswales, removing and replacing curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway aprons, parkway culverts, curb ramps and the installation of detectable warning surfaces and Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS). All Bidder's questionnaires and/or request for equal substitution requests shall be submitted to Joe Conroy via email at jconroy@cityofpasadena.net and by 4:00 PM on July 7, 2022. Any questions or substitution request received after 4:00 PM on July 7, 2022 will not be considered.
