Site work and paving for a civil project in Clearwater, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Pre-Qualification of Bidder: Awards of bids for construction services with an engineering estimate in excess of $100,000 will only be made to Bidders who have pre-qualified with Pinellas County for Road, Street and Storm Sewer type construction, or those that are pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in Flexible Paving and Drainage prequalification, in the amount that equals or exceeds their bid. Only those bids from Bidders that meet the pre-qualification requirements from either Pinellas County or FDOT prior to a bid opening will be considered. Intersection improvements include a left turn lane on the east and west legs of Sunset Point Road, sidewalk, base, sub-base, curb and gutter, grading, milling and resurfacing, mast arms, signalization and pavement markings. Construction also will consist of storm sewer, two (2) barrel box culverts 10 ft. x 10 ft. and related channel improvements. City of Clearwater utility relocation includes the replacement, relocation and/or adjustment of 500 LF of 16 in water main, and approximately 500 LF of 8 in. x 6 in. water main that are in conflict with the proposed intersection improvements. Take special note of the lobbying clause in section a of each soliciation. By signing your submittal your firm agrees to adhere to pinellas county board of county commissioners rules in regards to lobbying.
