This project consists of furnishing and installing a new complete storm water collection system, reconstruction of the project roadways, swales, new landscape planting material, signage and thermoplastic pavement markings located between NW 1st Ave (East boundary), NW 5th Terrace (West boundary), NW 21st Street (North boundary) and NW 16th Court (South boundary). This work is required to improve surface water runoff and collection by the Citys Utility Stormwater Management Department as well as provide safe passage of pedestrian and vehicular throughout the area during rain events. BOND ALLOWANCE, for maintaining the Performance Bond at 100% of the contract amount, a sum of one percent (l%) of the total cost of the change, (including material, labor, overhead and profit, and equipment rentals) shall be allowed on all change orders. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the City in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidders maximum Bid Price and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements stated herein.
