As of July 31 , 2020 the city did not receive enough responses to create a meaningful list. So the city will be opening up RFQ process again shortly to add to the list of qualified General and Sub contractors for future consideration in at least one CIP Sewer Project that contains Trenchless Line work. Buena Sanitation District (District) has determined that all Contractors and Trenchless Subcontractors (collectively referred to as "Bidders") on the Green Oak Trunk Sewer Replacement Project to be undertaken by the District must be prequalified prior to submitting a bid on the Project. To be qualified to bid on the Green Oak Trunk Sewer Replacement Project, Bidders must fully comply with the requirements of this request for qualifications and score a passing rating. No bid will be accepted from Bidders that have not been prequalified by the District. The construction of the sewer will be split into two separate bid packages, for two separate phases of construction. Phase 1 of construction will include the alignment between the Buena Creek Pump Station and the edge of City property. Phase 1 will advertise for construction first. Phase 2 will pick up from the edge of City property, through Green OakRanch property, and finish at the eastern end. Phase 2 will advertise for construction after the conclusion of negotiations, and an agreement is finalized and executed, with the Green Oak Ranch property. Bidders for this work will be required to have a valid Class A contractor's license issued by the California State Contractor's License Board at the time of bidding pursuant to Business & Professions Code Section 7025.15(e). Any Bidder not so licensed shall be subject to all legal penalties imposed by law, including, but not limited to, any appropriate disciplinary action by the Contractors' State License Board.
