The Work includes the construction of an underground off-line combined sewage storage facility in McKinley Park including the following: 1. Cast-in-place concrete underground storage approximately 300 feet long by 240 feet wide by 20 feet deep. 2. Cast-in place concrete underground odor control structure approximately 28 feet long by 18 feet wide by 20 feet deep. The odor control structure will house an activated carbon vessel and a blower. 3. Submersible pump station, 10 feet diameter, approximately 25 feet deep with two 15 hp. submersible pumps and discharge piping. 4. Concrete valve vault approximately 10 feet long by 8 feet wide by 8 feet deep housing 2 check valves, 2 plug valves, 2 air release valves, pressure gauges and force main piping. 5. Prefabricated public restroom with dedicated electrical and mechanical rooms. Mechanical room will house a booster pump and air break tank. 6. Yard piping including wash down water piping, foul air piping, fresh air piping, force main, water lateral connection, sewer lateral connection and site drainage piping. 7. Removal of the baseball field, backstop, associated fencing, and bleachers. 8. Removal and replacement of the picnic area landscaping, hardscaping, picnic tables and amenities 9. Tree protection and new tree planting. Landscape plantings. Irrigation system and grass replacement 10. 42 inch RCP diversion sewer, approximately 600 feet long and a 60 inch diversion sewer approximately 160 feet long. 11. Diversion structure approximately 18 feet long by 13 feet wide by 15 feet deep, with an overflow weir. 12. New electrical control equipment; yard piping; new submersible pumps; temporary bypass piping, connecting new site piping and appurtenances to existing pipelines; facility cut over; pavement restoration; recycling construction debris; removal of temporary facilities; site cleanup; and construction of all associated appurtenances as shown on the plans and/or as indicated in these Contract Documents, including all material, labor, plant, tools, equipment, and services necessary for a complete, operational facility.
