Sealed bids for: Road Reconstruction & Drainage Improvements for Sunny Hills - Section II Specifications and other bid information for the proposed work are prepared by Raritan Township Engineering Department. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. The project consists of but is not limited to the following approximate quantities of major items: 500 CY Excavation "Unclassified" 13,346 LF Belgian Block Curb 1,759 LF Reinforced Concrete Pipe 17,532 SY Pavement Reclamation 17,532 SY Asphalt Pavement 2.5" compacted surface course. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications and must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project, "Road Reconstruction Improvements for Sunny Hills - Section II" on the outside, addresses to Raritan Township Committee, c/o Township Clerk, One Municipal Drive, Room 130, Flemington, NJ 08822 and must be accompanied by a NonCollusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall be less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named. A "Bidders Checklist" is provided in the bid package with a list of all forms contained in the specifications which must be signed and submitted with the bid. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c127. The Township of Raritan reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit of the Township. Any corporation of partnership submitting a bid shall complete the statement setting forth the name and addresses of all stockholders or partners who own ten (10) percent or more of the stock of any class of the corporation or own a ten percent (10%) or greater interest in the partnership. Time of Completion is 120 calendar days.
