Description

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Honolulu, Hawaii. Working plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Plans call for the final phase needed to complete the Skyline Rail System project. The scope of work includes an elevated guideway of approximately 1.25 miles extending from the Civic Center Station. Two final stations - Kaka'ako Station (Kukuluae'o) located near the Ward Village area & Ala Moana Station (Kalia), with the ultimate terminus planned to be located on Ala Moana Center property. Extending the automated train control, traction power, and communication systems to the new terminus. Switches & tail tracks beyond the Ala Moana Station to allow trains to reverse direction. Utility relocation for underground water, sewer, & electrical lines. A firm construction timeline has yet to be determined.
