The project includes the demolition of portables at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The contract time for this project shall be 240 consecutive calendar days from the effective date designated in the Notice to Proceed. The Scope of work for this project is to deconstruct and remove existing portables 1171A and 1171B. Work to include, but not limited to deconstruction, removal and donation of the deconstructed lumber and hardware which make up the structure, disposal of remaining elements of the structure, including furniture, equipment, conduit, lighting fixtures, wires, plumbing, carpet, etc. Work also includes connect, cut and cap utilities-including electrical, fire alarm systems; water and sewer connections; gravel installation; testing of materials and soil to be disposed following DOH protocols; repair/replacement of existing beams and posts; complete.
