The Sewer Capacity projects are intended to provide for the expansion of the sewer system infrastructure to maintain service levels and prepare for future growth requirements. Key geographic areas have been identified for this effort which include: 1. Dunne Avenue from Murphy Avenue to Condit Road 2. LaCrosse Drive between LaMar Drive & Monterey Road 3. Along Northbound Highway 101, North of Cochrane 4. Llagas Creek Drive- Eagle Springs to Hale Avenue 1. Dunne Avenue from Murphy Avenue to Condit Road This project consists of replacing 950 feet of existing 8-inch sewer pipeline along Dunne Avenue with a new 10- inch sewer pipeline from 230 feet east of Murphy Avenue to Condit Road. This project is intended to accommodate additional flows contributed by residential development east of Highway 101. 2. LaCrosse Drive between LaMar Drive & Monterey Road This project consists of replacing 1,700 feet of existing 10-inch sewer pipeline with a new 12-inch sewer pipeline along La Cross Drive/Vineyard Boulevard between La Mar Drive and Monterey Road. The 2017 Sewer System Master Plan indicated the capacity of the existing 10-inch sewer pipeline is insufficient under existing peak flow conditions and this project is intended to mitigate the capacity deficiency. This project will also provide additional capacity to accommodate additional flows contributed by future developments west of Monterey Road. 3. Along Northbound Highway 101, North of Cochrane This project consists of replacing 1,200 feet of existing 10-inch sewer pipeline along NB US 101 north of Cochrane Road. This project is necessary to accommodate additional flows contributed by planned residential development east of Cochrane Road and north of Peet Road. 4. Llagas Creek Drive- Eagle Springs to Hale Avenue This project consists of replacing 1,950 feet of existing 8-inch sewer pipeline along Llagas Creek Drive from Eagle Springs Court to Hale Avenue. The 2017 Sewer System Master Plan indicated the existing 8-inch sewer pipeline is nearing maximum capacity and recommended the replacement of this pipeline to accommodate additional flows contributed by planned residential developments west of Hale Avenue. As of June 23, 2022 no new CIP issued, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2028 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
