Valley Water is seeking bids from responsive, responsible, and qualified firms ("Bidders" or "Bidder") to Furnish and install a 5 kV secondary unit substation and switchgear with a weatherproof, non-walk-in structure. The secondary unit substation shall consist of primary equipment, transformer, and secondary equipment as specified in the scope of work. The manufacturer of the unit substation shall furnish and coordinate all major components of the substations, including incoming primary equipment section, transformer and low-voltage section, as well as circuit breakers, fusible switches, and metering components. The purchase will also include a single warranty covering all substation assemblies, transformers, and components. Start/Delivery Date - October 2022 Project Duration - 1 year Q&A Deadline - 02/01/2022 4:00 PM (PST) The Bidder shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, tax, apparatus, facilities, labor, transportation, supervision, and management, not specifically provided by Valley Water, to provide goods or to complete work described in this ITB. The selected experienced and qualified Bidder(s) will be tasked to furnish and install a 5kV secondary unit substation and switchgear with a weatherproof non-walk-in structure. During the evaluation of bids, Valley Water will grant a five percent (5%) preference to Bidders who have submitted a Local Business Enterprise Declaration The Secondary Unit Substation to be supplied must be delivered to Valley Water within 42 weeks of receiving Notice to Proceed. The schedule assumes 6 weeks to approve submittals. The Supplier shall factory load, transport, and unload the MCP at Valley Waters Coyote Pumping Plant located at 18300 Peet Road, Morgan Hill, CA, 95037.
