The following is a general description ofthe anticipated project components. Consultants are expected to submit a detailed work plan that includes more specific components and phasing. The City of Morgan Hill is seeking citywide sidewalk assessment services to collect sidewalk condition data, curb ramp type data, and associated Geographic Information System (GIS) data. The format of the data shall be required to meet GIS data requirements of the City (Attachment 3). Proposals shall be required to address the following areas: The initial data collection procedures for assessing all City sidewalks and collecting and documenting all sidewalk deficiencies, including a standard rating system on the severity of the deficiency. The initial data collection procedures for developing a City-wide curb ramp ADA compliance program on the following attributes: ramp slope, cross slope, road slope & cross slope, flare slopes, ramp width, landing area, and tactile pad (truncated dome) per current Caltrans Standards. The City roughly estimated that it has approximately 190 miles of sidewalk and 1,250 curb ramps in the areas in need of assessment. The City reserves the right to modify the scope of the Project at any time based on the best, interests ofthe City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
