**As of May 18, 2023, project was awarded to K2 Civil Inc., awarded amount is $1,069,282.50.** The project generally consists of the construction of a 410-foot by 450-foot pad for a compost facility south of the existing City of Billings Regional Landfill across Hillcrest Road, near the intersection of Hillcrest Road and Stratton Road. The pad will consist of a 272-foot by 59.5-foot asphalt pad, and the remainder of the area will be gravel. The project also includes the construction of a 30-foot wide access road (off an existing approach to Hillcrest Road), earthen dam, water service line, and miscellaneous drainage improvements.
