Caraveo, Procurement Analyst Telephone: [915] 541-1136 Email: CaraveoVA@elpasotexas.gov The Offeror agrees, to furnish all items [supplies or services] at the prices offered, and delivered at the designated point or points, within the time set forth below, if this offer is accepted within ONE HUNDRED TWENTY [120] consecutive days from the date set for the receipt of offers. All offers shall expire on the 120th day after the offers are open unless the City of El Paso requests an extension of the offers in writing and the offeror agrees to extend in writing. The City of El Paso-Mass Transit Department ("Sun Metro"), invites the submission of proposals to emergency on-call services and scheduled maintenance for the Streetcar Overhead Contact System. Coverage will be provided on operating days along the entire route, maintenance facility and corresponding power sub-stations. Initial term will be for three (3) years with a proposed option to extend for one (1) additional two (2) year term. This is a RFP - Request for Proposals Procurement based on proposed monthly rate for emergency, on call services and scheduled maintenance as per the afore-mentioned. The power required to operate electric rail vehicles over El Paso Streetcar (EPSC) system is delivered through a network of electrical distribution lines and facilities. EPSC's traction power distribution system uses various protective devices to ensure high level of reliability and includes many safeguards and controls to ensure that operations and maintenance employees can work safely and confidently in its vicinity. The EPSC running vehicle power is provided by a network of overhead contact system poles and wires.
