Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in San Bernardino, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

As of 10/2/2019 this project has been awarded. The construction for the project started on July 19, 2019. The Redlands Passenger Rail Project (RPRP) entails the demolition and reconstruction ofapproximately 42,800 track feet (8.11 track miles) of new, continuously-welded rail, ties,ballast and roadbed from the San Bernardino Transit Center (SBTC) to beyond the Universityof Redlands. The RPRP will have: 24 road crossing replacements with new track and signalappliances; 4 newly constructed bridges, including the Santa Ana River bridge; 1 bridgerehabilitation requiring new deck, ties, rail and ballast; 4 newly constructed passenger stations;and 1 modified station at SBTC. The RPRP will transform existing Federal RailroadAdministration (FRA) excepted track to a class 4 Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) andPositive Train Control (PTC) enabled passenger corridor. As such, this corridor will requirenew signal and communication appliance construction. SBCTA has established Sensitive Security Information Standards for recognizing,marking, handling, and disposing of Sensitive Security Information (SSI) in order tominimize the risk of future threats. All Covered Persons who have access to SBCTA SSIshall comply with SBCTA's standards as set forth in Special Provision 23.All Bidders shall present a signed Confidentiality Form to A & I Reprographics beforethey are able to access the Plans and Specifications. As of January 21, 2020, this project is underway, and will be completed Winter, 2021.
