Site work and new construction of an educational facility in West Windsor, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and place set forth above. No bids will be received after that time unless the contract is re-advertised for bids. Bidders are responsible for seeing that their bids arrive at the Purchasing Office at the address specified above before the opening date and time. Bids delivered in person or by express service should be delivered directly to the Purchasing Office. Bidders must contact Fred Carella at the College (carellaf@mccc.edu) to obtain a site visitation. Bidders are subject to the provisions of the County College Contracts Laws N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.25 governing bidding requirements. Bidders for contracts exceeding the bid threshold must be pre-qualified by the state of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction. Bidding Contractors must be pre-qualified as either "C008 General Construction" or "C009 General Construction / Alterations and Additions". Each bid must be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying. There will not be a pre-bid meeting. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) and P.L. 1999, c.238 "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act." and the requirements of P.L. 2004, c. 57 Contractors Business Registration Act. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of "An Ordinance Establishing a Qualified Minority, Women, Veteran-Owned Business, or Small Business Set-Aside Program", Ordinance 2018-5, enacted pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-41, et seq. Neither the Mercer County Community College, nor the Architect will assume any responsibility for Bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. A separate non-refundable cost of Twenty Five ($25.00) Dollars per set will be charged for handling and mailing via overnight delivery to Contractors if requested. A separate non-refundable handling charge of Ten ($10.00) Dollars per set will be charged for sending Contract Documents via overnight delivery as prearranged and paid for by the Bidder. Non-refundable check(s) for Bidding documents shall be made payable to the "Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc." All Bidders should contact the Architect's Office at (609) 695-7400 to confirm details of availability of Bidding Documents. Bidders who obtain Bidding Documents on CD are advised that a hard copy set of documents will be maintained in the office of the Architect and the office of the Owner.
