Per the owner, as of October 3, 2023, this project is anticipated to bid in the summer of 2024 and construction is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2024. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .............. The City is seeking the services of a landscape architecture firm (consultant), licensed in the State of California, to lead a team of professionals for development of a park. The Community Development Department has final approval authority on project scope, schedule and budget. The City of Lincoln has budgeted funds to master-plan, design, and construct a new 5.4- acre park site within the Lincoln Crossing residential community. The Lincoln Crossing community is located in the southwestern portion of the City and is bounded on the east by State Route 65 and on the north by Auburn Ravine. The neighborhood park is off Calendon Circle and Brentford Circle (APN 327-010-012-000) and bordered on the southeast by a nature preserve and paved trail. An aerial vicinity and site map is included in Appendix A. Also, included are the as-builts with the sewer, water and storm drain services to the vacant parcel. The Park shall include a number of active and passive recreational amenities. The Consultant will work with City staff in developing a master plan which could include themed play structures, picnic areas, hardcourts, turf playfields, parking lot, restroom facilities, or tennis courts, within the $3.0M construction budget.
