Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field.

Peters Township is seeking proposals from PennDOT prequalified bidders for the Construction of a new municipal park known as Rolling Hills Park situated on roughly 90-acres adjacent to East McMurray Road. Construction consists of a 3,700 LF roadway, underground utilities, four (4) parking lots, a maintenance building, three (3) pavilions, a restroom, concrete sidewalk and stairs, a shared-use asphalt path, and asphalt trails. The project includes protection of trees, erosion and sedimentation controls, earthwork, demolition of block and metal buildings, landscaping, coordination with playground installers, and other items incidental to construction. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent is required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages will be paid on this project. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit in the form provided in the Bidding Documents. Peters Township has the right to reject any and all bids. All Contractors must be PennDOT prequalified. All Contractors shall comply with all State and Federal Laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring and employment opportunities. Only the purchase of the Bidding Documents from the Township will place the purchaser on the official plan holder list.
