This project provides for the construction of recreation trails throughout the city for walking, jogging, inline skating, bicycling and equestrian uses. May include but not limited to projects such as segments of the Ream Wilson Trail, Bayshore Drive Trail, Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail, and trails within park boundaries. Funds in fiscal year 2018/19 will be used to construct a trail head at Del Oro Park and provide funding to assist in the construction of the pedestrian/bicycle overpass at State Road 60 connecting the Courtney Campbell Trail and Bayshore Trail. This project will provide funding in fiscal year 2022/23 for improvements for the Pinellas Trail in the North Marina Area section. This project will create more of a "Linear Park" appearance, encourage private investments, and better integrate the trail and related North Marina Master Plan improvements with the surrounding neighborhood. As of November 22, 2022, project is included City of Clearwater FY 2022-2028 CIP. Bidding for design team and general contractor selection timeline has not been determined.
