Renovation of a municipal facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Plans call for the redevelopment of an open area to create a more attractive space for library events, informal gathering and public events. Project will include the rehabilitation of the post office clock tower plaza (10145 - 100 St. NW, North of Westin Hotel); renewal of the Milner library parkade waterproofing (under the Centennial Plaza); renovations to the stairs and elevator pavilions on the southeast and southwest corners of the plaza; removal of the outdoor amphitheater; and upgrades to the Milner parkade entrance ramp canopy and associated parkade and stair entrances. The project areas includes both Centennial Plaza (9904-9924 101A Avenue immediately south of the library) and the rehabilitation of the post office clock plaza (10145-100 Street NW, North of Westin Hotel). TIMELINE: Construction is well underway.
