Renovation of a mixed-use development in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University is inviting Construction Managers with proven experience successfully completing work on construction projects to submit a Proposal for Campus Saint-Jean Library Classroom Renovations and Mechanical and Electrical Upgrades located at Campus Saint Jean. The prime objective of the project includes two phases of Work which are: .1 Construct two new classrooms, which will accommodate a digital hybrid-learning classroom and a lecture style-teaching classroom. The lecture style classroom will also be accommodated with infrastructure to allow it to be converted into a hybrid learning classroom in the future; and .2 Mechanical and electrical upgrades. The current electrical system requires a replacement. The tender drawings are very clear on the scope, roles, and responsibilities. The current cooling tower will be replaced with a chiller located on the exterior of the building. The successful Proponent will be responsible to provide temporary power options while the new Electrical distribution is being constructed.
