As of August 2022, the project is in design and the permitting process. Contractor bidding is expected to commence in 2023. Provide professional engineering services to prepare the design documents (PSE) to replace approximately 1,795-feet or existing 24-inch sewer line along Mormon Slough between Sierra Nevada Street and Bieghle Avenue. Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration and all of the required documents and information. The pricing shall be submitted under separate, sealed envelope. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. The City of Stockton encourages local Stockton firms to propose on this project and the City encourages proposers to use local Stockton firms as subconsultants. Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any subconsultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to proposer who best meets the needs of the City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.
