Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Edmonton, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 640,000-square-foot educational facility.
Plans call for a new facility to accommodate the School of Skilled Trades. The new facility will be built at the former Westwood Transit Garage site, located north of the main campus. Method of delivery will be Construction Management. TIMELINE: A Request for Pre-qualification for prime consultant planning and design services is currently underway. The goal is to identify a maximum of five (5) qualified and experienced Prime Consultants to provide professional planning and design services to assist the Owner in the execution of the design of the New Advanced Skills Centre (ASC) Project. The successful proponent will be announced in early 2025. Additional RFPs for engineering services are expected to be issued sequentially. Further project details and schedules may be confirmed late 2024/2025. *The project has received $43 million in provincial funding (2024).
