Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Coral Gables, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 174,417-square-foot, seven-story above grade, 456-space parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; retail development; and municipal facility.
Project No:- 2016-02R, 30055 The City of Coral Gables is soliciting bids for the construction of Parking Garage 7 located at 240 Minorca Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134. The Scope of Work for this project is for the construction of a multi-story parking garage known as Parking Garage 7. The objective is to construct a Garage facility (approximately 450 spaces) that can operate in a code-compliant, safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner within an aesthetically pleasing environment. The ground floor of the building will house the Parking, Human Resources, and Labor Relations Departments of the City, back-of-house facilities, as well as approximately 7,200 square feet of future retail space. The remaining floors will be allocated for parking. The scope also includes all the required and associated on-site and off-site improvements. The site for the new building is on Minorca Avenue between Salzedo Street and Ponce de Leon Blvd., adjacent to the recently completed City of Coral Gables Public Safety Building, Any request for additional information or clarification must be received in writing no later than Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Bidders should not rely on any representations, statements or explanations other than those made in this IFB or in any written addendum to this IFB Certified minority business enterprises (as defined in Florida Statutes 287.0943 and 288.703) and other minority or woman-owned enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Per Addendum 1, Budget is $14,500,000.
