Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a bridge / tunnel in Kahnawake, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for outdoor lighting for a bridge / tunnel.
Reconstruction of Honoré-Mercier bridge over the St. Lawrence River located on Route 138 between the City of Montreal and Kahnawake, part of the administrative regions of Montreal and Montérégie. The project aims to maintain the inter-shore link between the island of Montreal and the west of the Montérégie region along the axis of Route 138. The project involves replacing the structures that accommodates the traffic lanes in the direction of the South Shore. This structure was commissioned in 1934 and has reached its useful life. The replacement will make it possible to recover the full functionality of the bridge and the sidewalk in addition to ensuring the connection of the multipurpose path on either side of the structure. TIMELINE: The consortium of engineering professional consulting firms is preparing working drawings by construction packages. Tender for construction of the first phase package issued under the number 2503-24-0204 was awarded is followed in the report under CRM ID name 4457169. Construction is underway. Subsequent package tenders will be followed if/when they are issued in new separate reports. Note: Engineering professional consulting firm CIMA + Laval has been awarded following public tender 2503-20-HE08 for construction work surveillance.
