Site work for a water / sewer project in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Operate existing valves for purposes of isolation for modifications with direction and assistance of Contractor. Remove 4 feet of existing steel pipe. Weld a 48 plain end 2 ft stub pipe to the existing 48 steel riveted lockbar pipe near station -0+23. Contractor shall provide the 2 stub plain end x plain end steel pipe section. Contractor shall perform all excavation, shoring, and provide access required for the Owner to safely perform the work and shall provide four weeks notice prior to the work and seven days after the work commences. Disinfection and associated testing of the installed and cleaned watermain. The Owner shall be allowed fourteen days to complete the disinfection of the pipelines.
