This is the replacement of the existing bridge on SR 2023 (Carsonia Avenue) over Antietam Creek with a new structure that will consist of a precast concrete arch and retaining wall at the intersection SR 2023 (Carsonia Avenue), SR 2025 (Antietam Road) and SR 2071 (Friedensburg Road). Each approach roadway consists of two travel lanes and shoulders and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 2023, SECTION 01B, in Berks County, Lower Alsace TOWNSHIP from approximately Segment 0060 offset 1973 to segment 0070 offset 0556.
