Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of March 23, 2023, project was awarded to Construction Masters Services, LLC, awarded amount is $1,319,934.65. The work includes mill and overlay of Garfield Avenue from Clayton Avenue to Dauphin Avenue, Hill Avenue from George Avenue to Reading Avenue, plus all of George Avenue, Logan Avenue from Cambridge Avenue to Reading Boulevard, and the Crossing Drive and Woodland Road intersection. Full-depth reclamation will take place on Berkshire Boulevard from Paper Mill Road to Crossing Drive, Squire Court from Logan Avenue to Sturbridge Drive, plus Durham Drive, Regency Drive, Greenbriar Road, and Greenbriar Court. Parkside Drive South will receive a double micro surfacing layer from Wyomissing Boulevard to Old Mill Road. Work also includes an approximately 670 square yard patching on Old Mill Road at its intersection with Cambridge Avenue, curb reconstruction, and line striping. Also included in this scope of work is the reconstruction of 23 ADA ramps. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act since the estimated construction costs of the project exceed $100,000. All Requests for Information shall be submitted online via electronically by 12:00 pm on February 1st to allow time to post an addendum on electronically(TM). No responses will be provided for requests received after that time or submitted by other means. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. Any changes to the plans or specifications will be provided as an Addendum and notice will be given to Bidders through the website via email. Bids will be publicly awarded on March 14, 2023 at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Wyomissing Borough Hall, 22 Reading Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Wyomissing Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
