The Project Involves a Bridge Super Structure Rehabilitation for the Structure That Carries East Patterson Street Over the Lehigh Canal and Abandoned Northern Reading Railroad and Other Miscellaneous Construction, as Indicated on the Approved Drawings Included in the Bid Package for State Route 0209, Section 13b, in Carbon County, Summit Hill Borough From Segment 0050 Offset 1518 to Segment 0050 Offset 2463. Project Cost Range: $1,000,000.00 - $2,499,999.99 Federal Project Status: Non - Federal (100% State) Structure Work: 44.00% Pre-bid Meeting: None Wage Rates: Yes Prequalification Requirement: Yes State Type of Work: R&r Existing Superstructure With Full Width Const Responses to questions on this page are for informational and clarification purposes. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This is an ECMS project. All Addenda will be electronically posted.The location of the public bid opening is the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 7th Floor, Contract Awards Room, 400 North Street, Harrisburg. Allow sufficient time before the bid opening to obtain a visitor pass on the 5th Floor and to be escorted to the 7th Floor Contract Awards Room Maintain access to all side roads, private driveways, residences, and businesses at all times. If work operations will affect access to driveways, provide minimum 72-hour advance notice to property owners. During all phases of construction, maintain clear sight distances at all side roads and driveways. During non-working hours, do not stop, leave standing, or park construction equipment on any traffic lane. Transition traffic control phases during periods of lowest traffic volume, as directed. Contact the Traffic Operations Center (610-871-4600) 15-minutes prior to a shoulder or travel lane closure. Also, 15- minutes prior to opening a shoulder or travel lane, the Traffic Operations Center is to be notified. Protect any excavations, obstructions or construction work so as to not expose traffic or pedestrians to hazards. Install temporary impact attenuating devices in accordance with Section 696 at exposed blunt ends of concrete barrier. Remove temporary pavement markings by approved water blasting or sand blasting methods. Restore any existing pavement markings that were removed or altered to their original condition. Temporarily cover or remove all conflicting signs. Remove all conflicting pavement markings. Leave accessible all fire hydrants, water valves, and mailboxes at all times during construction. Before opening lanes to traffic, replace all lane lines, centerlines and edge lines covered or destroyed during the previous operations.
