Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Hope, British Columbia. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Construction of a 3-metre-wide multi-user surface on the Bill Hartley Fraser Hope Bridge, with the allowance of a removable walkway to allow for easy access to place riprap for pier protection as needed. TIMELINE: Project is pending budget approval. Preliminary design is complete. Tender and construction schedules have not been established at this time and are not anticipated in the near future. An update may be available in spring, 2026. *This project is part of the "Experience the Fraser's East Portal" Program. The other component, which is for Detailed Design of a waterfront trail from Water Avenue to Tom Berry Road is covered under a separate report.
